September 14 – Elgin

Get the latest on the drugs with emerging patterns of abuse, including the changing nature of marijuana, newer antidotes and toxic/non-toxic dangers within the home. Current Issues in Medicinal Toxicology: Emerging Drugs of Abuse will take place Thursday evening, September 14 in Elgin.

Registration and a buffet meal begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the presentation and panel discussion from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The rate of drug overdose deaths continues to climb at an alarming pace in the United States. 

In light of this urgent public health issue, A Panel Discussion on Understandings (and Misunderstandings) of Addiction is being held on Wednesday evening, September 27 in Rosemont.

Networking with light refreshments begins at 5:30, followed by the panel discussion at 6:30 p.m. 

Presenters will explore the opioid epidemic and substance abuse as they pertain to:
