  • Governor Signs Bill Expanding Organ Donor Registry

Last week, Gov. Rauner signed an ISMS-supported bill to expand Illinois' organ donor registry – and ISMS President Nestor Ramirez, MD, MPH, was in attendance.

At the signing ceremony, families with personal connections to organ donation spoke passionately about the need for individuals to register as organ and tissue donors.
