How's 'Year 2' of MACRA Going? If You Need Help, Contact ISMS
Posted on: 2/12/2018

The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) changed Medicare’s framework for reimbursing physicians. Medical practices continue to adjust to the new quality rules that impact payment and ISMS stands by your side to help.

We're sure by now you've taken time between patients to read the 1,600-page MACRA Final Rule, right?

Just kidding. Most doctors barely have time to catch their breath throughout the day.

That's why ISMS has boiled down the final rule into a brand new Issue Brief, Medicare Quality Payment Program For 2018.* This Issue Brief is designed for those already familiar with the MACRA basics; if you are seeking introductory MACRA participation information, visit our MACRA web page.

The resource covers the essential 2018 reporting provisions for "Year 2" of the Medicare Quality Payment Program (QPP) and includes key points that doctors need to know about MACRA implementation.

Year 2 of QPP began Jan. 1, 2018, and while the basic rules and structure of the QPP have been in place for more than a year, some implementation details have changed for 2018.

So stay on top of MACRA by accessing our free resource!

If you ever need personal assistance, ISMS members and their practice management professionals may also contact our advocacy team with questions by calling 800-782-4767 ext. 1470, or by sending an email.
