Introducing ISMS’ New Retired Physician Volunteer Program!
Posted on: 7/29/2019

volunteer Are you retired, have an active medical license, and looking for opportunities to put your knowledge and expertise to work?

ISMS is excited to announce the launch of the Retired Physician Volunteer Program, which connects our retired members with options to volunteer at free clinics in Illinois.

Many of our members have expressed a desire to give back to their profession and to those in need.

Signing up for the program takes just two easy steps.

First, access our interactive map to find a free clinic in your area. Then, complete the Volunteer Inquiry Form (scroll down). The Southwest and the Southeast areas are not part of ISMS' program at this time.

One of our staff members will then contact you.

That’s it!

Without physician volunteers, many free clinics may not be able to fulfill its mission of delivering medical services to underserved communities.

If you want to learn more about the program, please contact Felicia Robinson at 312-853-1625 or send an email.

Also, if you know of a free clinic that you would like to have included on our list, please email Felicia Robinson

Volunteer today. Make a difference tomorrow.

Please note: The available volunteer opportunities at selected free medical clinics are not guaranteed and are based on the current needs of the clinic. Also, volunteer hours and responsibilities are set by each free medical clinic.
