    The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) is warning patients about unproven stem cell treatment.

    Specifically, IDFPR is warning patients to avoid stem cell therapy treatments administered by chiropractors or others who are not licensed to provide this therapy without collaboration with a physician, doctor of osteopathy or other authorized healthcare professional

    To help with lobbying efforts in the fight against unsafe legislation for patients, the American Medical Association’s Scope of Practice Partnership (SOPP) awarded a grant to ISMS.
